Southeast Missouri Regional Crime Lab has been serving law enforcement since 1970. Formed under the Omnibus Crime Bill of 1968, the laboratory is housed on the campus of  Southeast Missouri State University and serves eighty-five agencies. The excellent reputation and expertise of the lab is known nation-wide as various states and defense attorneys request its assistance in forensic matters.
