The Cost of Education at Southeast

Southeast Missouri State University knows the cost of your college education is a factor you will be considering as you make your college choice. The cost of an education at Southeast is well below the national average, while the academic rigor of our educational program stands well above average. In addition, we operate a unique textbook rental system that enables students to save a minimum of $350-$500 each year.

Fees in effect during the Fall 2002 Semester for full-time, undergraduate students are:

Note 1: Payment Plans are available for all students. Please contact Student Financial Services at (573) 651-2253.

Note 2: Some specific courses will be charged a nominal fee to cover lab and material costs.

Note 3: A $150 deposit is required to before a Contract for University Housing can be processed.  A Contract for University Housing will be included in your acceptance packet.

Note 4: Meal plans other than those shown are available. Contact the Office of Residence Life at (573) 651-2274 or click here for more information.

Note 5:  Yearly charges for the following items are in addition to the above room & meal rates:  Residence Hall Association fee ($30); 24-hour direct internet access fee ($40); and cable TV fee ($60).
