The KMOX Student of Achievement Award

The KMOX Student of Achievement Award recognizes 30 students in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, the arts, community service and leadership.

Eligibility Criteria

To be nominated for this award, a student must satisfy the following criteria and be nominated by their high school counselor or principal:
  • Reside in the St. Louis Metro Area (including St. Louis County and City, St. Charles County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, and Metro-IL)
  • Completed their sophomore year of high school--entering their junior year of high school
  • Demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, the arts, community service and leadership.

Value

In addition to the honor of recognition, the recipients will receive:
  • $100 U.S. Savings Bond
  • Recognition on KMOX Radio and KETC Channel 9
  • $2,000 President's Scholarship and $500 Leadership Scholarship from Southeast Missouri State University
  • Gifts from the Sponsors
  • Recognition at a special luncheon
  • Plaque

Each high school in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area is invited to submit one application, with a letter of recommendation, for consideration to:
