ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK

Students and staff journeyed to Ellington (MO) to serve the poor in the area March 14-18, 2009.

APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

Toward the end of the semester, CCM staff and student leaders invite faculty, staff, benefactors, and friends to a catered lunch on campus.  Good food and conversation are always included!

AWAKENING

This is a retreat for college-age students by college-age students.  Southeast's CCM sponsored its first Awakening Retreat in 2001.  The retreat continues to happen with enthusiasm each fall.  This exciting weekend includes personal faith and life experiences presented by college students, reflection time, small and large group interaction, and surprises!

BAR HOP SERIES

Gathering at different spots (some of the popular hangouts, local restaurants and bars) we meet for informal discussion and sharing.  The students have opportunities to ask questions out loud or anonymously. Topics previously addressed include:  sex, love and relationships, death and dying, faith, and temptation.

BUSY PERSONS' RETREAT

Stay in your busy world, while experiencing four days of prayer and reflection.  This retreat requires an hour of your time each day (30 minutes with a spiritual director and 30 minutes of personal reflection and prayer).  Spiritual directors are happy to work with your schedule.  Optional group experiences are offered each evening, and meals and snacks are always available for the hungry.  Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate.

CHOIR

Sing for Family Weekend, Confirmation, and other events sponsored by Catholic Campus Ministry.

FAMILY WEEKEND

Bring your family and friends to campus and enjoy Mass on the Academic Terraces.  Food, fun, and fellowship follow!

HOMECOMING

Great times and creative ideas!  Thinking bigger is better for next year.

LAST LECTURE SERIES

Suppose you were given one last chance to use your voice in a public forum.  What would you say?  We invite faculty and staff to share, in thirty minutes, what gives meaning to their lives.

LISTENING & LIVING GOD'S CALL

We come together once a month to look at the different choices that are available, including single life, married life, and religious life.  This is an opportunity to take a closer look at your journey with God, enjoy a free meal and informal discussion.

SIGN-UP-SUNDAY

During Mass, on one of the first Sundays of the Fall semester, information sheets are handed out and collected so that students, faculty, and staff can indicate their strengths and interests.  Information sheets are also available at the Newman Center.  Food and fellowship follow each of the three Masses.

QUO VADIS

This is CCM ongoing effort to proclaim that serving the Church is a worthy effort - that the Lord continues to call men and women of all ages to serve him with generous hearts.

Quo Vadis is aimed at helping college students listen attentively to the voice of God echoing deep within their heart.  We are intent on helping our students discover anew the joy inherent in serving God as a priest or religious.
