She is a 1974 graduate of Southeast Missouri State.  While attending Southeast, she was a member of the Southeast Dance Team, which is now called the Sundancers.  She also performed with the Dance Club called Terpsichore and competed in intramural gymnastics competitions while attending  Southeast. She is currently teaching high school science at Chaffee High School.  Darcy has been named the Missouri State High School Activities Association Blue Ribbon Spirit Coach. 

 

She has completed the NCA College Cheerleading Coaches Certification Course and AACCA certification.

 

Her son, Nathan, is a graduate student at Southeast Missouri State.  Her daughter, Danielle Alspaugh,  is  Associate Director of Admissions for Southeast Missouri State and is the coach of the Sundancers.
