2. Program description:
   This is a program for students who are at-risk. Most of them struggle in school, have self-esteem proglems, and/or have had very few life experiences. We not only talk about good choices in respect to drugs and alcohol, but also in respect to maintaining relationships with peers and family members. We go on several field trips to give the children authentic experiences in which to practice their social skills, along with experiences which build self-esteem. We also have guest speakers who speak on many issues, including trust, self-esteem, drugs and alcohol, etc.
