If you have questions that are not answered here, Parking Services may be contacted at (573) 651-2310, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during regular sessions or by e-mail at dps@semo.edu, attention Parking and Transit Manager. Parking Services summer hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Employee Parking Permits

Current University Employee parking permits will expire August 2009. Registration to renew parking permits will begin August 3, 2009. Employees may register on-line or renew their permits in person. To apply in person, bring valid University identification along with the expiring permit to Parking Services in the D-Wing of Dearmont Hall. A new permit will be issued at that time. Permits renewed on-line will be mailed to the Employee’s mail stop. Expired permits should be returned to Parking Services for proper disposal after the new permit is received.

  • From the employee tab, click to open "My Southeast Self Service" located in the upper left-hand box.
  • Click on the active link in the My Southeast Self Service box.
  • Select Southeast Employee Processes.
  • Click on Parking Services.

Permit Registration & Appeals

All vehicles parking on campus must be registered with Parking Services and must display a University parking permit.  Motorcycles and motor scooters must also be registered.

The 2009/2010 preferred parking lottery registration will open at 8:00 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 and closes Friday, July 31, 2009 at 4:00 pm. Commuter parking permits will be mailed on or around August 13, 2009. Resident hall permits will be distributed at move-in on August 20, 2009, or from Parking Services, D-Wing, Dearmont Hall, beginning August 21, 2009.

Permits purchased Fall 2009 are valid until the end of the Summer 2010 semester.

University parking tickets may be appealed online at My Southeast.
