Parking Violator Notification Procedure

  1. Student Notification
    1. At five tickets, a first letter is sent to owner of vehicle identifying the violator procedure and the results of additional tickets.
    2. At 10 tickets, a second letter is sent to owner, requesting they contact Parking Services. The letter will also include notification that on the 11th unpaid ticket a third letter will be copied to Judicial Affairs where a Notice to Appear (NTA) may be issued.
    3. At 11 tickets the violator file is forwarded to Judicial Affairs.
    4. Judicial Affairs render a disposition which will result in, but is not limited to, the vehicle being towed and/or a boot placed on the vehicle making it inoperable and/or campus parking privileges being revoked.

  2. Faculty/Staff Notification
    1. At five tickets, a first letter is sent to the owner of the vehicle identifying the violator procedure and the results of additional tickets.
    2. At 10 tickets, a second letter is sent to the owner of the vehicle, requesting they contact Parking Services. The letter will also include notification that on the 11th ticket a third letter is sent to the owner and copied to the Director of Human Resources.
    3. At the 11th ticket a third letter is sent to the owner of the vehicle and copied to the Director of Human Resources identifying that the vehicle will be towed and/or a boot placed on the vehicle making it inoperable and/or campus parking privileges being revoked.
