Southeast Missouri State University: Department of English

The Department of English sponsors several events for the department and the university as a whole. Every semester, faculty, students and alumni gather at the department picnic, usually held at Cape County Park North. Every year, the H.O. Grauel Lecture sponsors [get something from someone]. In addition, Journey, the student literary magazine, sponsors a series of readings by students and faculty at Southeast. Finally, the BioKyowa company, in partnership with the Center for Faulkner Studies, offers a research fellowship to a Japanese Faulkner scholar to come to Southeast to study and lecture.
