Journey Journey is Southeast's undergraduate student literary magazine. Published issues are the result of work by undergraduate staff members.
Cape Rock The internationally acclaimed poetry journal The Cape Rock is published by the Department of English of Southeast Missouri State University.
Big Muddy A semi-annual national publication that explores multi-disciplinary issues and events concerning the ten-state area that borders the Mississippi River. Submissions are accepted year-round. Big Muddy is produced at the University by students in the small-press publishing program.
Helix Produced by the Department of English and the Writing Outcomes Program, Helix publishes undergraduate and graduate researched writing from all disciplines.
Discoveries Sponsored by the Department of English and the College of Liberal Arts, Discoveries is a publication of the South-Central Renaissance Conference, a national association of early modern scholars. Discoveries publishes conference-length papers, book reviews, news, and notes.
Southeast Missouri State University Press Southeast Missouri State University Press, founded in 2001, annually produces two to three full-length books, as well as Journey and Big Muddy: Journal of the Mississippi River Valley.
