Parent’s Fund
What is it?
The Parent’s Fund, a division of the Annual Fund, is a special gift-giving program for parents of undergraduate students. The sincere interest and generous support of parents have made a significant difference in helping Southeast maintain and enhance facilities, curriculum and student life.
How does it help?
Parents direct their gifts to all areas of the university. However, unrestricted gifts–gifts to the Annual Fund–are the most useful for Southeast. Unrestricted gifts help the University to take advantage of time-sensitive educational opportunities for students outside the annual budget such as special guest speakers, trips, labs etc…
What size gifts are needed?
Parents support Southeast with gifts of all sizes, last year’s average gift was about $50.00. Remember though, gifts are votes of enthusiasm and appreciation for the education that Southeast offers, and each gift sets an example for and inspires others to give, ultimately ensuring the University’s success in meeting the needs of its students...your children!
