Spring 2009 Semester

Incoming Programs

Ross Scott and Emma McVitty, students at Stranmillis University College, Belfast, spent the spring 2009 semester at Southeast taking secondary and elementary courses in the College of Education, and working as interns in Jackson South Elementary and Oak Ridge School.

Outbound Programs

As part of the exchange with Stranmillis University College, Belfast, six Southeast students spent 8-weeks in Belfast schools doing their student teaching: Jenna Webb, Jenna Frederking, Jenn Leise, and Kate Miller, all completed their experiences in a variety of elementary schools - maintained, controlled, Catholic, and integrated. Keri Clynes and Julie Hill spent their time teaching in grammar schools as FACS and English teachers.

As a participant in the Renaissance Program, Etsuko Kanegae spent her eight weeks at Fukuoka International School school in Fukuoka, Japan.
