INTERNATIONAL STUDENT TEACHING OPTIONS........................
The following programs are available to all ELEMENTARY, EARLY CHILDHOOD, EXCEPTIONAL CHILD, MIDDLE, AND SECONDARY EDUCATION MAJORS
OPTION 1: The Renaissance Partnership Program
- Complete your second 8-weeks of student teaching (Block IV) in one of more than 50 countries available through this program.
- Be supervised by a Renaissance partner institution professor living in the country.
- Make your own arrangements for housing – with assistance from your local hosts.
- Costs to student include $1500 administrative fee, airfare from $800-2000 depending on destination, room and board from $1500-2000 depending on destination.

OPTION 2: The Spain Program
- Complete your second 8-weeks of student teaching (Block IV) in Leon, Spain
- You must high level of fluency in Spanish in order to student teach in Spain.
- Costs to student include: $1500-2000 room and board, $800-1000 airfare
- Share a 3-person suite in residence hall at the University of Leon with Spanish students

OPTION 3: The Native American Schools Program
- Complete your second 8-weeks of student teaching (Block IV) in one of 30 Native American schools available through this program
- Be supervised by a Renaissance partner institution professor.
- Make your own arrangements for housing – with assistance from your local hosts.
- Costs to student include $1500 administrative fee, $100-500 travel to destination, room and board from $1000-1500 depending on destination.

OPTION 4: The Russian Far East Program
- Complete your second 8-weeks of student teaching (Block IV) in an English-medium school in Ussuriysk, Russia.
- Costs to student include: $1500-2000 room and board, $1000-1500 airfare.
- Live on campus in a residence hall at Ussuriysk State Pedagogical Institute.
- Knowledge of basic Russian would be very useful, but not required.
